The district administration of Lahore has rejected PTI’s request to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on February 8.
According to local TV, the district administration denied permission to the PTI to hold the rally on February 8 on the recommendations of the district intelligence and rejected the request and also informed the PTI leadership.
The Deputy Commissioner said that there are security issues of important personalities and various programs in Lahore. On the recommendations of the District Intelligence, the PTI rejected the permission for the rally.
The intelligence committee recommended that violations of SOPs have also come to light by the PTI in the past, due to the arrival of foreign personalities in Lahore and due to various programs, security is being protected.
