190m pounds case: Objections raised on appeals against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi's sentence

The Registrar’s Office of the Islamabad High Court has objected to the pleas of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi against the sentence in the 190 million pounds reference.

The Registrar’s Office returned the appeals after raising the objections and directed to refile the appeals after removing the objections.

The Registrar’s Office has objected that no certificate is attached to the appeals, the case is not being heard in any other court, so a certificate should be affixed while some pages are not even signed.

After removal of objection, appeals will be filed again.

Founder PTI and Bushra Bibi had filed appeals against the sentence, requesting that the sentence be quashed and released on bail pending the final decision on the appeals.

It should be noted that on January 17, the accountability court sentenced Imran Khan to 14 years and Bushra Bibi to 7 years of hard labor in the 190 million pounds case.

Bushra Bibi was arrested from the courtroom after the court pronounced the verdict safe for 30 days.
