After a few hours of ban in the US, the service of the popular social media app TikTok has started to be restored.

According to the report, TikTok was banned by the US government because the company had not sold its US operations.

On January 19, TikTok was banned across the US, leaving millions of people unable to watch videos on the social media app.

People in America who have TikTok installed on their phones, when they tried to open it, a pop-up message appeared in front of them saying that ‘TikTok ban law has been applied in the US, unfortunately this means you can no longer use this app.

However, after the important announcement of US President-elect Donald Trump, TikTok service has started to recover in America and users are receiving messages.

Trump had indicated that he would work to restore the app after taking office on Monday.

During a recent interview, Trump said that he is considering allowing TikTok to operate for another 90 days.

He said that possibly on January 20 (today), he could give TikTok another 90 days of life.

According to the news agency, TikTok has said that after Trump’s announcement, they are restoring their service in the United States.
