PTI rejects plea to hold public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan tomorrow

PTI has strongly condemned the punishment of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pound reference, announcing to challenge the verdict in the Supreme Court.

Speaking to the media, the opposition leader Omar Ayub said that today is a dark day in the judicial history of Pakistan as money came to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, questioning what is the relation of Bushra Bibi and the PTI founder with that money?

Omar Ayub said that the question should have been asked to Hassan Nawaz as to how he took this money out, we will challenge this decision in the higher court.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said while talking to the media outside the Adiala Jail that today the judge has given the decision in the Al-Qadir University Trust case and another decision has been added to the controversial decisions in the history of Pakistan.

He further said that when the judge pronounced the verdict, Khan smiled and said that such decisions are rewarded. This is a decision that did not benefit Khan, a woman who is a trustee of a welfare organization was sentenced. Neither Khan Sahib is disappointed nor we will be disappointed, he added.
