Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that we are united against the forces of evil to deal with the enemy with iron hands, adding this war is on and will bring it to its logical conclusion.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir said this in a meeting with the leaders of various political parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during his visit to Peshawar. KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also participated in the meeting.
The Army Chief said that any attempt to disturb the peace of the nation will be answered decisively and with full force. The enemy may try to sow seeds of fear but we will not back down.
He appreciated the unwavering determination and unprecedented sacrifices of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies and said that Pakistan forces and law enforcement agencies are playing a vital role in thwarting the nefarious agenda of terrorists. The main leaders of the terrorists have been chased down with tireless efforts and eliminated them.
He said:”We are proud of the outstanding achievements of the security forces. We have successfully reduced the operational capabilities of terrorist organizations inside and outside our borders. Pakistan forces have eliminated the terrorist infrastructure and their cells.” It has sent a clear message that terrorism has no place on our soil and every operation of the forces is a testament to the courage, professionalism and operational readiness of the security forces.
General Asim Munir said that the security forces are engaged in defeating the threats posed by terrorists.
The Army Chief praised the extraordinary courage of the army men and said that these men are steadfast in their determination to protect the sovereignty of the nation. They are determined in their mission to protect the motherland and its people, he added.
