Qatar has sent the final draft of the Gaza ceasefire agreement to Hamas and Israel after a breakthrough in negotiations.
According to the foreign news agency, positive progress was made late at night in the ongoing negotiations for the Gaza ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages in Doha, after which Qatar handed over the final draft of the agreement to the Israeli authorities and Hamas.
Representatives of the current US government, including the prime minister of Qatar, the heads of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the Shin Bet, and the envoy of the newly-elected US President Donald Trump, also participated in the ongoing negotiations.
On the other hand, the Israeli authorities denied receiving the final draft of the ceasefire agreement in a statement on the news agency’s report.
Israeli officials said they have not received the draft yet, but the outline of the agreement is clear and if Hamas responds soon, the rest will be finalized soon.
In this regard, the Israeli foreign minister said in his latest statement that progress has been made in the ceasefire talks, which is better than before and he hoped we will see some things happen soon.
