First made in Pakistan satellite Electro-Optical One is set for January 17 launch, said the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
The indigenous satellite was completely made in Pakistan by the SUPARCO, marking a historic achievement for the country.
The development underscores Pakistan’s growing space programme in Advanced Earth Space and Planetary Sciences (AESPS) and represents a leap forward in the nation’s self-reliance in space technology.
The launch of Electro-Optical One is expected to pave the way for further advancements in scientific research and national development.
The satellite would help in natural disaster response, agriculture, urban planning and natural resource monitoring, said the SUPARCO spokesperson.
