Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has decided to immediately send young batter Saim Ayub to London for treatment after suffering an injury on the first day of the Cape Town Test against South Africa.
Mohsin Naqvi decided to send Saim Ayub to London for treatment after consulting the doctors. Naqvi himself contacted Saim Ayub and inquired about the well-being of the cricketer and also expressed his best wishes for his recovery.
The PCB chief said that Saim Ayub will be checked up by London’s sports ortho specialists, while Dr. Mamrez is supervising the cricketer’s case in Pakistan.
According to PCB Chairman PCB, Dr. Mamrez has sent all the medical reports of Saim to London, who is a stylish batter and an asset to Pakistan cricket. He will be sent to London from Cape Town on the first available flight. Azhar Mehmood will accompany Ayub to London.
Naqvi said that he is very concerned about Saim Ayub’s injury. He will be checked up and treated at the best hospital in the world and all resources will be used for treatment. Hopefully, Saim Ayub will recover before the Champions Trophy.
