Finally after six days of closure, Karachi’s main artery Shahrah-e-Faisal is cleared for traffic today. Karachi Traffic Police has announced that the city’s key thoroughfare known as Shahrah-e-Faisal is now clear for vehicular traffic.
The development came after the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) ended its sit-ins from two points on the key artery.
According to the traffic police, the Shahrah-e-Faisal is now fully clear for traffic after the MWM ended its sit-ins at Natha Khan Goth and Malir 15 keeping in view the problems being faced by commuters.
The citizens of port city have expressed their gratitude to the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen for facilitating commuters.
Meanwhile, the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) continued its sit-ins over the Parachinar crisis for the seventh consecutive day today.
Traffic hurdles remained for the people of Karachi where protests entered their 7th day against the situation in Parachinar.
