Imran lauds govt for stabilising near-collapsing economy

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan, talking to the media in Adiala Jail, praised the government for stabilizing the economy.

During an informal chat in the jail, when a journalist asked if he was admitting that the government has stabilised the economy, the former prime minister replied: “The economy has stabilized, preventing bankruptcy, but there has been no progress.”

Also on Thursday, the PTI negotiation committee got permission to meet the PTI founder and left Adiala Jail from Gate 5. Omar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, Salman Akram Raja, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, and Hamid Raza were among the negotiating committee members.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister is already meeting the PTI founder inside Adiala Jail.
