ChatGPT’s search engine powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is now available to all users.
This was announced by OpenAI.
It should be noted that in October 2024, ChatGPT search engine was introduced to give Google a hard hit in this field.
But at the time, the company said that this search engine would be available to users who pay GPT’s monthly fee and would be able to get real-time details.
The company further said at that time the search engine would be available in the next few months for users using ChatGPT for free.
Now this search engine is also introduced for free users of this chatbot.
But users need to create an account and login on ChatGPT to use it.
The search engine has also been improved by the company and its user interface on mobile now looks like a traditional search engine.
If you want to search for a specific location such as a hotel or a famous place, ChatGPT will display a list of results with photos, ratings and opening hours of those places.
If you click on a location, more details about it will be revealed while it will be possible to see the map direction within the app.
