Technology giant Apple is working on a flexible tablet that is twice the size of the largest iPad.
According to reports, the device is expected to be launched by 2026 and will have a nearly invisible line connecting the two iPad Pros edge to edge.
Apple designers have already prototyped a folding iPad that would measure up to 18.8 inches when fully expanded.
The company has been frequently filing patents for the technology since 2011, which has fueled rumors of a foldable iPad or iPhone for more than a decade.
Analysts have previously predicted that Apple will launch its folding iPad before its bendy iPhone.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has already said that the world’s most expensive company will fall behind its rivals if it doesn’t introduce a foldable device.
