Gold prices on Thursday saw another massive increase in Pakistan as it soared to Rs282,800, said All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
According to the Association, the price of 24kt gold per tola saw an increase of Rs2,300 during the day as it reached Rs282,800.
The surge follows recent fluctuations in the global and local markets.
Similarly, the 24kt gold per 10 grams has also surged by Rs1,971 as it was being retailed at Rs242,455.
Meanwhile, the price of 22kt gold per 10 grams is Rs. 222,250.
In international markets, the price of gold has increased by $23, reaching $2,716 per ounce.
Silver prices, however, have remained stable, with the 24kt silver per tola priced at Rs. 3,450, and the silver per 10 grams priced at Rs. 2,957.81.
