US President-elect Trump warned the group of emerging economies of the world, BRICS, against introducing an alternative currency to the US dollar.
According to a foreign news agency, Donald Trump says that the BRICS countries should neither bring their own currency nor support an alternative currency to the dollar, which will result in a 100% tax on energy.
Trump said that there is no possibility of replacing the US dollar in the world economy, adding the BRICS countries that support the alternative currency of the dollar will not find a place in the US economy.
According to the news agency, the BRICS countries’ plan to trade in their currency is under consideration.
It should be noted that BRICS is a group consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. This year, Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia also joined BRICS
