Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Latif Khosa revealed that the government was ready to release former prime minister Imran Khan.
He told in an interview that they were ready to release the PTI founder immediately, and was seeking over a week time for it.
“This is not a government. They sent a jet to bring Barrister Saif and Barrister Gohar here. [Adiala] Jail was opened at 8am, then parleys were run for two hours, where they said we will release Imran Khan and let’s discuss other issues on table but after a week,” he told a local TV.
“The only difference was that we wanted it today. Why wait for a week or 10 days as it is a lollipop.”
He said that so for none of the PTI leader were involved in the talks, but have spoken about the talks.
When the PTI protests reached Islamabad on Tuesday, Saif came on a different news channel to speak about his meetings with Khan.
