PCB rejects Muhammad Yousuf’s resignation as selector

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has refused to accept the resignation of former Test cricketer Muhammad Yousuf.

Media reports are claiming that the former cricketer is likely to be given new responsibilities in the board as he will be offered 2-3 new positions by the PCB.

The PCB will also contact Abdul Razzaq in future and give him new responsibility.

It should be noted that a few days ago former player of Pakistan cricket team Muhammad Yousuf announced his resignation from the position of national team selector.

In this regard, Yousuf said that he is resigning from the post due to personal reasons and it is an honour to serve this team and proud to contribute to the development of cricket.

He is one of Pakistan’s most successful batter, having scored 7530 Test runs and 9720 ODI runs in his career from 1998 to 2010.
