It will enable UAE residents to travel visa-free to many destinations around the world.
It will also be possible to pay the price using this ID card at some petrol stations in the UAE. For which the card has to be linked through Adnoc wallet.
Thanks to this ID card, UAE residents will not need to carry a separate health insurance card as all healthcare information will be stored in this card.
With this new card, the residents can check their visa status on websites.
Holders of this ID card will also be able to check the travel restrictions imposed on them. If a person suspects that they are subject to a travel ban, they can verify through their Emirates ID by visiting the Dubai Police app or the ICP website.
