US government staff to work 120-hour weeks: Elon Musk

Elon Musk, adviser to the newly-elected US President Donald Trump, has met with the Tran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

The US media have confirmed the meeting between Elon Musk and Amir Saeid Iravani.

Iranian officials said that issues related to de-escalation between the two countries were discussed between the two personalities.

The hour-long meeting between the two leaders took place at a secret location in New York, and the representatives of the Biden administration at the United Nations were not informed about the meeting.

The meeting was requested by Elon Musk while the venue was chosen by Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations.

According to the report, the Iranian official said that Iravani urged Elon Musk to ask the US Treasury Department to lift sanctions on Iran and invited him to bring some of his businesses to Tehran.

The US media said that the Iranian mission to the United Nations has denied the permanent representative’s meeting with Elon Musk, but no response has been received from Elon Musk’s team.

US President-elect Donald Trump said during the election campaign that he wanted to end wars, but Trump’s communications director, Steven Sching, said he would not comment on private meetings that may or may not have taken place.
