The Civil Aviation Authority has warned of incidents of aircraft skidding on the runway of the Karachi airport during the change of weather.
CAA has issued instructions for landing and take-off at Runway No. 25L of Karachi Airport.
According to the guidelines, at night Runway 25 L can become wet with dew, which can cause aircraft to slip, which can lead to accidents.
The civil aviation directive further states that all airlines should take necessary precautions in landing and take-off of aircraft.
Earlier, a United Arab Emirates (UAE) group has also expressed interest in managing the airports in Karachi and Lahore.
Captain Muhammad Jumma Al Shamsi, a Manager Director of AD Ports Group in UAE, contacted the Ministry of Aviation, expressing interest in outsourcing Jinnah International Airport Karachi and Allah Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
