The Anti-Terrorism Court will hear the May 9 GHQ attack case today during which PTI founder Imran Khan is likely to be indicted.

According to a local TV, it has been decided to speedily hear the GHQ attack case.

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah will hold the hearing in the court and strict security arrangements have been made by the police.

During the previous hearing, copies of the challan were distributed among all the accused, however, Shah Mehmood Qureshi could not receive the copies as he was in Lahore Jail. It is likely that copies of the challan will be provided to his lawyers today.

It should be noted that in order to avoid indictment, former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed has filed an acquittal application. If the petition is heard today then the indictment will be deferred.

The court has today summoned all 125 accused for charge-sheeting while Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur has also been ordered to appear in person today.

It has also been decided to issue arrest warrants for all the accused who were absent from the hearing today.
