A few hours before the US presidential election, political pundits with an eye on the future predicted that Kamala Harris would become the president.
Dr. Allan Lichtman, an American University professor, is known for his perfect election predictions.
He predicted that Kamala Harris will win the election.
Lichtman has correctly predicted 9 out of 10 US presidents since 1986. He made a prediction Donald Trump would lose.
The professor made the only wrong prediction back in 2000 when he said that Democrat Al Gore would go to the White House.
During a recent livestream, the professor voiced concern for the US’s future rather than the election polls. He said: “Of course I’m anxious. Not because of the polls, but primarily because I’m worried about the future of this country.”
Meanwhile, according to Northwestern University data scientist Thomas Miller’s prediction, Harris will win against Trump. In 2016, he predicted Trump’s victory.
According to US magazine Fortune, in the final stages of the campaign, the predictions suddenly shifted away from Trump and Harris is winning. Less than a week ago, the predictions seemed to be going in Trump’s direction, but not anymore. Now Kamala Harris is in the lead.
