Polling for the US presidential election started yesterday. Trump or Kamala Harris, the US president, will be decided today.
Kamala Harris has a national lead of only 1.02 percentage points over Trump. 270 out of 538 electoral votes are required for victory.
Elections are decided in hotly contested “swing states” with a history of alternating Republican and Democratic candidates.
There is no room for error for any candidate in these seven battleground states this year.
Those seven states include Pennsylvania (19 Electoral College votes), Georgia (16), North Carolina (16), Michigan (15), Arizona (11), Wisconsin (10), and Nevada (6).
Pennsylvania was once a reliably Democratic vote, but Republican Trump won the most populous battleground with 13 million residents by 0.7 percentage points in 2016.
Speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, Republican candidate Donald Trump has said that he did not accept defeat and the results of the presidential election in 2020. He truly feels that he should not have left the White House at that time. Trump said that our border was the most secure in the history of the country when he was leaving office, we did a great job.
