I am facing 14 cases in court: Sheikh Rasheed

Rawalpindi: Former federal minister and head of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed has said that they are being oppressed a lot.

Speaking to the media on the occasion of his appearance in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rasheed said that there are 14 cases against him and a lot of oppression is being done.

He said that the fear of the nation has ended. We have done 40-day challa and the health is still not good. Thankfully, Intizar Panjotha has returned and I praise the creator of the story, he added.

The former minister said that they are selling PIA as if it were their father’s property. The government has failed and advised the rulers to sell their flats instead of PIA.

Rasheed further said that the State Bank or FBR should prove that their (rulers’) visits brought investment. They have increased taxes on land, which never happened before.

He said that the election of the American president affects the whole world.
