Bad weather news for Karachiites for next three days

Chances of reduction in the recent heat spell in Karachi have died down as the Met Office has forecast that prevailing spell will persist for another next three days.

The city is experiencing a hot day today as the mercury crossed 40 degrees. The temperature may touch 40 degrees on Monday and 39 degrees on Tuesday.

During the first half of the day, hot and dry winds of Balochistan affected Karachi. Sea winds are expected to resume briefly in the evening. Humidity will increase in the morning while the humidity will remain moderate in the afternoon during the next three days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of heat wave during the current hot spell. It said that the heat wave situation is caused by the cessation of sea breezes for 3 consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the temperature may rise up to 42 degrees in Sajawal, Thatta, Umarkot, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar in rural Sindh.
