A novel penned by martyred Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has gone viral on social media.

Yahya Sinwar’s entire life was spent in the struggle against Israeli colonialism. During this time, he endured various hardships and spent many years in prison.

The world is familiar with him as a military commander, but very few people know that Yahya Sinwar was also a writer as he authored several books, including a novel called ‘Al-Shouk Al-Qarnafil’. This novel written in Arabic was also translated into many languages ​​including Urdu and English.

In English, “The Thorn and the Carnation”, while in Urdu “Phool Aur Kante” was written by Yahya Sinwar in 2004 during his captivity in an Israeli prison. It is said that dozens of Hamas fighters copied it to protected it.
