RAWALPINDI: Police have arrested 19 criminals and recovered over 20 kilograms charras, 1325 grams heroin, 10 liter wine, one pistol 30 bore with 30 rounds and a Kalashnikov with 27 rounds from their possession.
According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Rattaamral police held Hamza for having 1350 grams charras.
New Town Police arrested Muhammad Naseer and recovered 1210 grams charras. RA Bazaar police sent behind the bars Rafaqat Ali for carrying 1040 grams charras.
Another accused namely Tahir Yaqoob was booked as police recovered 10 kg charras from his custody.
Race Course police also recovered two kg charras from Haleem Shah. Khalid Shah, Basit Ali, Ali Nawaz, Muhammad Nabi, Muhammad Saeed and Nasir Ali were held on recovery of charras.
Rattaamral police netted Gul Zaman and recovered 1200 grams heroin. Other accused were arrested for having illegal weapons, drugs, liquor and kites.
