Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday reiterated that Islamabad would continue to extend its diplomatic, moral and political support to Palestinians who are facing unabated Israeli aggression and oppression.

In a message on the Solidarity Day with Palestinians, the prime minister said that the government will continue its support to the Palestinian brothers and sisters until establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He said the Pakistan was observing a day of solidarity with their unarmed and innocent Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Shehbaz was of the view that Israel was mocking the world powers, international institutions, Security Council (SC) resolutions and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

He said that today as we observe Palestine Solidarity Day at the national level in Pakistan, his message to the entire world is to ensure practical steps to stop the massacre of Palestinians.

The prime minister further said that Islamabad would not leave its Palestinian brothers and sisters in these difficult times.

He said that today (October 7) a year had passed since a new wave of Israeli atrocities on Palestinians was unleashed.
