Imran Khan, other PTI leaders and workers booked for sedition and terrorism in Lahore

PTI leaders and workers including Imran Khan have been charged with sedition and terrorism in the context of party’s protest in Lahore.

A case was registered against PTI chairman, leaders and 200 workers under the serious provisions of sedition, terrorism and attempted murder in Islampura police station.

Hamad Azhar, Salman Akram Raja, Ghulam Mohiuddin, MPA Shehbaz, Musrat Jamshed Cheema, Sheikh Imtiaz, Ali Imtiaz, Shabir Gujjar and other leaders were named in the case.

According to the content of the FIR, the PTI chairman enjoys extraordinary facilities in the jail. The chairman incited these leaders to violence against the state from inside the jail, on which these leaders raised anti-state slogans and vandalized.

Activists injured constable Bilal and police detained 16 agitated workers on the spot. Further legal action is underway against the agitated workers.

Apart from this, cases were registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers for protesting in violation of Section 144 in the city.

Cases were also registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers with the Millat Park and Hanjarwal police stations.

On the complaint of ASI Aqeel, a case was registered against 20 workers in Hanjarwal police station. The Hanjarwal police had arrested the workers for going out for protest yesterday.

A case was registered with the Millat Park on the complaint of Sub-Inspector Hafiz Imran. A case was registered against 10 workers for violation of Section 144.
