Chup Tazia processions are being taken out across the country including Karachi and Lahore today. The first mourning procession in Karachi was held from Nishtar Park at 6:30 am.
The Chup Tazia procession will pass through MA Jinnah Road, Capri, Saddar Dawakhana and terminate at Noor Bagh Musafir Khana Musa Lane.
During the procession on M.A Jinnah Road, traffic will not be allowed to go on the procession route from Guru Mandar Chowk.
In Karachi, the second Chup Tazia procession will be taken out from Rizvia Society at 1 pm, which will terminate at Shah Najaf Imam Bargah, Martin Road.
According to the traffic police, several roads will be closed to facilitate the procession. These include Nishtar Park, Shah Khurasan, MA Jinnah Road, Saddar Dawakhana, and the linking roads to Husainiya Iraniyan Imambargah.
