Top PTI leadership including SIC’s Hamid Raza arrested from outside parliament

Police entered into the Parliament House and arrested several PTI leaders including Sahibzada Hamid Raza of the Sunni Ittehad Council, reports said.

According to sources, the lights inside the National Assembly were turned off, after which a few officers in civilian clothes entered the Parliament House, while the police outside took over the position.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza was detained by masked officials from inside Parliament, while PTI’s Naseem Ali Shah was also arrested.

Other leaders including PTI leader Sheikh Waqas Akram, Aamir Dogar and Zain Qureshi have also been arrested.

The sources said that two security personnel accompanying the PTI leaders were also detained. The security personnel were present outside the Parliament Service Centre.

On the other hand, there are reports that Ali Amin has reached KP House and Naeem Panjhota said that he will leave for Peshawar along with the chief minister.

Earlier, the police arrested PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar and Sher Afzal Marwat from outside Parliament while Shoaib Shaheen was arrested from his house.

It should be noted that three cases have been registered against the organizers of the PTI rally. The first case has been filed for violation of not ending the meeting on time, the second case was registered for violation of route while the third for stone pelting on SSP Safe City and other officials.
