Naqvi says terrorist incidents in Balochistan planned to disrupt SCO conference

Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi has said that the incident of terrorism in Balochistan on August 26 is not normal as it was all planned.

The interior minister, speaking in the Senate, said that they know who is behind terrorism in Balochistan, two or three groups are involved in the incident. This incident is planning to spoil the conference of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. There are so many who want that SCO should not take place but we will host the moot.

He said that the parliament is supreme and no operation is going on, adding those who do not believe in the state and pick up guns. These elements are terrorists and we will take them to  the task. on the other hand, those who believe in the state of Pakistan will be appreciated, he said.

It should be noted that 54 people, including security forces personnel, were killed and many others were injured in two consecutive incidents of terrorism in Balochistan. During the operation, the forces also killed dozens of terrorists.

After several incidents of terrorism in Balochistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with federal ministers visited Quetta for a day and called an emergency meeting.
