Heavy downpour in Rawalpindi delayed the toss of second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh on Friday.
Currently, both teams were still in their hotel and umpires were to inspect the ground only after the rain stopped.
The visitors are currently leading the two-match series 1-0 thanks to their 10-wicket victory last week. That was Bangladesh’s first-ever victory in Test cricket against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan are desperate to square the two-match series.
Pakistan have left out pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi from their 12-member squad, allowing him time to spend with his newly born son.
Pakistan would be looking to bounce back in the second Test after suffering the first-ever defeat against Bangladesh in the opening Test of the two-match series.
