Jamiat Ulema Islam-F (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is ready to resign from the assemblies for transparent elections and also to dissolve Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly for new elections.
In a conversation with journalists, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that JUI-F has formed a committee to negotiate with PTI, which will be headed by Kamran Murtaza and the committee includes Maulana Lutfur Rahman, Fazal Ghafoor, Aslam Ghori and Maulana Amjad.
He said that the committee will negotiate with PTI and the committee will decide the strategy in consultation with PTI.
He said that PTI is ready to resign from assemblies for transparent election. PTI is ready to dissolve KP assembly for new elections and the party has assured to resign from assemblies.
The head of JUI-F said that there is no real mandate even in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and PML-N and PPP are helpless. He added the PPP and PML-N is not fulfilling the responsibility of government. Without transparent elections there will be no peace and economic stability in the country.
He said that before the election, he had said that the competition with PTI founder is in the ground and the political facilities that he has as a politician the same should have to everyone.
Fazl said the country cannot afford any more adventure or martial law. The situation and powers are now out of their hands and the establishment should review its policy because the country will not move ahead like this.
