YouTube has given another great facility to users who create videos. The video sharing platform has now introduced several new features for those who post short videos like TikTok.
According to foreign media reports, YouTube has announced that some of the new features introduced will be available to users immediately, while the availability of other features will be confirmed in a few weeks.
A new feature introduced called YouTube Shorts is similar to TikTok’s text-to-speech video narration, which will feature artificial intelligence (AI) technology-based voice-over.
In YouTube shorts you can choose any voice of your choice from the currently given 4 voices by clicking on the advice button on the top left corner of the screen.
Another new feature YouTube has introduced is auto-generated captions through which you can use auto-generated captions without leaving the video and also change caption styles with different fonts and colors. Similarly, a new set of Minecraft effects is also being made part of the video service.
On the other hand, YouTube Music is reportedly preparing to introduce a new AI feature that will enable users to search for music through voice commands and verbal prompts.
According to Android Authority, this innovative feature was identified in the YouTube Music app for Android version 7.06.53.
The upcoming ‘Ask for Music’ feature will allow users to search for their desired music by using verbal prompts and voice commands. Initially, the feature will be accessible to select groups of Android users, with plans for a broader rollout in the future.
