After a decline in gold prices for a couple of day, it bounced back on Wednesday with an increase of Rs600.
According to All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tolais being retailed at Rs245,600 after an increase of Rs600.
The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also experienced an upward trend, rising by Rs514 to reach Rs210,562.
The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold on Wednesday remained Rs193,016.
The international gold market also showed an increasing trend as it stood at $2,372 per ounce, marking a $10 decrease during the trading day.
Silver prices in the local market, however, remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola.
