Karachi: The Sindh High Court has suspended the notification declaring PTI leader Firdous Shamim’s house as a sub-jail.
A hearing was held in the Sindh High Court on a petition against putting pressure on Firdous Shamim Naqvi to withdraw nomination papers, in which the court stopped the authorities from taking action against Firdous Shamim without court orders.
The court also suspended the notification of Sindh Home Department declaring Firdous Shamim’s house as a sub-jail and ordered to provide him security.
The court issued notices to Sindh and the federal government for January 4.
