Nominations of candidates for elections in the country will be collected from today.
The Election Commission issued nomination papers across the country yesterday, after which candidates from all over the country are receiving nomination papers to participate in the election.
To participate in the election, the candidates can get the papers from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, while the process of submission of nomination papers will also start from today.
Candidates can submit their nomination papers from December 20 to 22 in the respective RO office after which the preliminary list of candidates will be released on December 23 while the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place from December 24 to 30.
Election symbols will be allotted to the candidates on January 13 and polling for the general elections will be held on February 8.
It should be noted that yesterday, nomination papers were received for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari from NA 194 Larkana, while nomination papers were collected from 3 constituencies for the head of the Pakistan Stability Party, Jahangir Tareen.
