Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched the system of temporary registration of mobile phones for overseas Pakistanis.

Addressing the event, the Prime Minister said that the period of customs duty on personal mobile phones is being extended from 2 months to 120 days on identification of overseas Pakistanis.

He said that the temporary registration online system for immigrants has been issued, the federal minister congratulates the IT and senior officials of the ministry, FBR, PTA.

He said that this is an important device which is a great facility for millions of overseas Pakistanis, they will get this facility sitting at home and they will be able to use their phone for 4 months without paying tax, and also extended it for 120 days. will go

The Prime Minister said that the opinion of not imposing tax on mobile phones is correct, but more collective consultation and deliberation is needed for a decision on this.
