Moon will set right over the Holy Kaaba tonight

Jeddah: For the first time this year, the moon will be set right over the Kaaba this evening.

According to Arab media, the head of the Astronomical Society in Jeddah, Engineer Majid Abu Zahra, has said that the moon will appear above 89.5 degrees in the sky of Makkah at 7:43 PM GMT.

The moon will be over the Kaaba at 12:43 PM Pakistan time, for the first and last time during 2023.

According to Engineer Majid, the moon will be 93% bright, on this occasion, other bright stars can also be seen in the sky.

Engineer Majid says that during this time, the direction of the Qibla can be easily determined in different regions of the world.
