Karachi: Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars completed 2000 runs in Pakistan Super League.
In the opening match of the eighth edition against Multan Sultans, opener Fakhar Zaman played an innings of 66 and made the total number of runs 2005, his average in 64 innings was 31.82.
On the other hand, Babar Azam is number one with 2413 runs, he got an average of 42.33 in 66 innings, Kamran Akmal is third with 1972 runs, the former wicket-keeper batsman scored runs at an average of 27.38 in 74 innings.
In 2020, Pakistan cricket team batsman Fakhar Zaman was conferred the honourary rank of Lieutenant in the Pakistan Navy.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi conferred the honorary rank of Lieutenant on Fakhr Zaman at the Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
A Pakistan Navy spokesman said that Fakhr Zaman was given this honorary rank for his outstanding performance in the field of cricket and his commitment to the Pakistan Navy.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Navy said that Fakhr Zaman joined the Pakistan Navy’s Operations Branch as a sailor in 2007. During his career, Fakhr Zaman won several awards for Pakistan Navy in the field of cricket.
