A delegation of the People’s Party led by Saeed Ghani visited Adara Noor e Haq and met Hafiz Naeemur Rahman.
The representative delegation of the People’s Party on this occasion congratulated the Jamaat-e-Islami on the great success in the local body elections.
The delegation of the PPP was welcomed and informed about the concerns regarding the election results.
Later, the parties also spoke to the representatives of the media.
Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while talking to the media representatives said that we have serious reservations about the results of the local body elections.
Saeed Ghani came here and he has assured that wherever things can be improved they will be made.
Hafiz Naeem said that the process of re-counting is going on in some places, the problem we faced was the acquisition of Form 11 and Form 12. Difficulties were also faced in the issue of taking the results. Problems are arising as a result of recounting. We struggled and protested on the change of results, mistakes are also being made in the process of recounting. The People’s Party Leaders have also responded positively, hopefully Saeed Ghani and his team will look into our problems, we have agreed to continue negotiations with them.
