Lahore: Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Finance Minister Hamad Azhar has said that (Q) League has its own existence and may have had experience with General (R) Bajwa, but PTI’s experience with General Retired Bajwa has not been good.

Talking to the media at Zaman Park Lahore, Hammad Azhar said that the economic conditions are getting worse day by day and things are not going well with the IMF, while gas is missing from homes and industries.

He said that Nawaz Sharif is not happy with the politics of Shehbaz Sharif, in 8 months the government has got only NRO 2.

The former minister said that (Q) League has its own existence and may have had its experience with General (R) Bajwa, but PTI’s experience with General Retired Bajwa has not been good.

Hammad Azhar further said that Pervez Elahi is with us and he has written the summary of dissolution of the assembly, 13 parties of PDM are running away from the election.

He said that those who call Tehreek-e-Insaf as party of Tange are behind him for the ticket, while those who suggest the disqualification of Imran Khan do not care about the interest of Pakistan.

Earlier, Board of Investment Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain has asserted that former chief of army staff (COAS) Gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa was the benefactor of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.

In a statement, the PML-Q leader – while reacting to Pervaiz Elahi’s recent statement – said that Gen Bajwa was the benefactor of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the incumbent Punjab Chief Minister.

“Pervaiz Elahi has expressed what he is thinking,” Salik Hussain said, if the incumbent Punjab CM returns by reforming himself, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) would welcome him.

He urged Pervaiz not to support the one ‘who turned against his benefactor’, in an apparent reference to Imran Khan.

Earlier in the day, Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi expressed displeasure over the former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for his continuous criticism of ex-army chief retired General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Speaking on the ARY News programme The Reporters, Punjab CM Elahi said that he had urged the PTI chief to avoid criticism of Gen (r) Bajwa during his yesterday’s Liberty Chowk rally speech. “Imran Khan criticised Gen Bajwa in his Lahore speech during my presence which is an injustice to me,” he said.
