LAHORE: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that Toshakhana’s watch was sold in Islamabad and there is proof of this.
Speaking to senior journalists in Lahore, Imran Khan said that a country that does not have rule of law never develops because it creates a free nation and a free nation leads the country to progress.
He said that we are sitting back and watching the appointment of the army chief. Let them do what they want to do. Nawaz Sharif wants to appoint a chief who will protect his interests. No army chief goes against the interest of the people.
Imran Khan said that Toshakhana’s watch was sold in Islamabad and there is proof of this.
The chairman of PTI further said that we are being sent a message of negotiations, but we have said to give the date of the election because all the crises are solved in a transparent election.
The former prime minister further said that he had said that he would give priority to the country’s interest over my own interest. The statement on the US issue was taken out of context. The US had overthrown my government, but because of the country’s interest, we will maintain good relations with them.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-N- Vice President Maryam Nawaz while addressing Imran Khan has asked him to take out the receipts for the sale of the gifts given by the Saudi Crown Prince.
Taking to Twitter to Wednesday, Maryam Nawaz criticized Chairman PTI Imran Khan and said that the one who calls others thieves is the biggest thief of Pakistan.

Earlier, Umar Farooq, a businessman from the United Arab Emirates, has claimed that the watch and other gifts given to Imran Khan by the Saudi Crown Prince were bought from Farah Khan by paying $20 million.
In an interview given to private TV, businessman Umar Farooq claimed that former adviser on accountability and interior Shahzad Akbar contacted him to sell watches, rings and other gifts in 2019. Gifts Imran Khan received from Saudi Crown Prince were brought to my office in Dubai by Farah Khan, he said.
