KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Labour and Human Resources, Saeed Ghani, has said that former prime minister Imran Khan should first present himself for accountability for the promises he made to the masses before coming into power.
While showing reaction to Imran Khan’s speech, the Sindh Labour Minister said on Sunday that the politics of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) only stood for protecting his cronies.
He claimed that Imran Khan had proved to be the most incompetent, ineligible, egoist, and failed prime minister in the history of Pakistan.
Saeed Ghani said the PTI Chairman was answerable before the entire nation for making false promises to hoodwink the masses to grab power.
He said that the former PM should tell the nation about the commitment he had made before coming into power to create 10 million job opportunities and five million houses in the country.
Ghani, who is also PPP Karachi President, said that Imran Khan had launched the campaign to protect Farah Gogi. He alleged that Imran Khan had also stolen things from the Tosha Khana.
He further alleged that Imran Khan was still conducting the campaign in favour of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the political agenda of Imran Khan had become obvious when he had run a campaign against Pakistan-origin Sadiq Khan who had contested the polls to become the mayor of London. Ghani said that Imran Khan in the past had run campaign in favour of his Jewish brother-in-law.
The Sindh Labour Minister said that Imran Khan had been responsible for ruining the economy of Pakistan.
He said that the economic growth rate had become negative during the past regime of the PTI.
He said the incompetent government of Imran Khan had first exported sugar and wheat and later on imported the two essential food items.
Ghani said that corruption had increased during the regime of PTI.
He said the cronies of Imran Khan had kept on minting money on every transfer and posting. He lamented the statement of Imran Khan that the atomic bomb should be dropped on Pakistan after his ouster from power. He recalled that Imran Khan had been behind the insulting incident in Madina for securing political gains.
