ISLAMABAD: Former special assistant to prime minister Imran Khan Zulfi Bukhari has announced to visit to the UK to renounce British citizenship.

Zulfi Bukhari said that when he came in the government he had said that he would stay in Pakistan and had completely shifted.

He said that he was going to England to surrender his British passport. Now I will have only one Pakistani citizenship, he said.

Zulfi Bukhari said that he was surrendering his British citizenship and then he would contest the election.

Last year, Zulfi Bukhari, the former special assistant to prime minister on overseas Pakistanis had once again rejected reports of his alleged covert trip to Israel.

 

 

He termed the reports of his covert visit to Israel as funny. He further said:”I went to Israel based on “Israeli news source” & Israeli paper says I went to Israel based on a “Pakistani source”-wonder who this imaginative Pakistani source is🤔.”

Earlier in December last year, the PTI leader had dismissed the similar reports of covert Israel trip.

According to then report, Zulfi Bukhari had met with Israeli officials at the Tel Aviv airport.
