MQM-P demands PTI to clarify its numerical position in NA

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Aamir Khan has said that consultations are underway with the government and the opposition, adding that final decision has not been taken yet.

The MQM delegation called on Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Nasir Shah, Saeed Ghani, Murtaza Wahab and Rukhsana Bangash attended.

Talking to media after the meeting, Aamir Khan said that consultation is going on but no final decision has been taken yet. Today’s meeting is also part of the consultation. Both sides expressed good views.

Aamir Khan said that Bilawal has said that he has accepted the demands, but these demands have been accepted orally.  Whether it is with the PML-N or the PPP, there will be a written agreement and it will come to light.

Earlier, MQM Pakistan has advised PTI to change the prime minister to end the political crisis in the country.

Sources said that a PTI delegation met the leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan at Parliament Lodges in Islamabad.

The government delegation included Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and Asad Umar, while the MQM Pakistan delegation included Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Wasim Akhtar, Aminul Haq, Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Javed Hanif.

The government delegation assured the MQM leadership that all their problems would be solved. The government is in trouble at the moment and do not leave us alone, it said, adding promises made with them would be fulfilled.

According to sources, the MQM has complained that it has been an ally for three and a half years. Which promise was fulfilled? Our offices are still closed and missing persons have not been recovered.

According to sources, the government delegation also conveyed a special message of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the MQM, while the MQM first suggested that the Prime Minister nominate another leader from the PTI in his place so that the coalition parties could Be able to make positive decisions.
