About 20 British MPs urge UK govt to call for Imran Khan’s release

ISLAMABAD: PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that not a single document has been submitted to the Election Commission in the last seven years by PTI.

Speaking at a press conference, Marriyum said that they have been appearing in the case which has been going on for 7 years. Akbar S. Babar had applied to the Election Commission regarding foreign funding. PTI leaders ask for accountability of others but not ready to their account, she said.

The PML-N spokesperson said that we have already submitted the records of funding. They have not been able to prove their case for 7 years. According to the State Bank record,  they have showed two accounts while hid five account in 2009. All the funds given by overseas Pakuistanis were either illegally used or hid. She said that $7 million were taken from an offshore company. Imran Khan should tell the nation at D-Chowk about 4 personal employees and the money given by overseas Pakistanis.

She further said that foreign funding kept coming in the accounts of 4 employees of PTI Central Office. If we ask PTI leader Farrukh Habib about foreign funding, in reply he asks us for accountability.

The foreign funding case should be decided immediately by the Election Commission, she said.

Marriyam Aurangzeb said that those who pretended to be honest and trustworthy would soon flee the country.
