KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami’s Youth Wing Naib Ameer Imtiaz Palari survived an attempt on his life while his driver was shot dead in Nooriabad area.
Imtiaz Palari said that unknown persons surrounded his vehicle and opened fire. As a result of which the driver was killed.

On the other hand, General Secretary of Masjid Khairul Amal Federation Salman Haider was shot dead in Federal B Area of Karachi.
A spokesperson for Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has condemned the assassination of Salman Haider .
Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman strongly condemned the firing on Imtiaz Palari’s car and killing of Salman Haider and offered condolences to the family of Salman Haider and Imtiaz Palari’s driver.
Hafiz Naeem also announced a protest demonstration at Hyderabad Press Club today demanding arrest and punishment of the attackers from Sindh government.
He said that the killing of Salman Haider was a conspiracy to spread insecurity and create sectarian tensions.
The JI leader demanded that the killers of Salman Haider should be arrested immediately and those who carried out the murderous attack on Imtiaz Palari should be punished.
He said that Sindh government and police department have failed to protect the citizens.
