JEDDAH: Thee Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed concern over the abusive treatment of Muslims in India.
OIC Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha said, in his statement, expressed serious concerns over ban on hijab in Karnataka and the incidents of genocide of Muslims in Uttarakhand state of India.

He urged the international community and the United Nations to take steps to prevent these incidents.
The OIC secretary general called on India to ensure the protection of Muslims and punish those who are provocative against Muslims.
