ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved to reduce power tariffs.
According to spokesperson for Nepra, Rs0.99 per unit reduction in the price of electricity has been approved, which is in the head of fuel adjustment from April to June 2021.

He said the decision to reduce power tariffs would be applied after the approval of the federal government, which will provide relief worth Rs22 billion to consumers.
The spokesperson further said that the approval of the reduction in the price of electricity is for all power distributors except for the K-Electric.
